Delta Air Lines Is Quietly Cutting Domestic Routes To Fund Its Premium International Push

Delta Air Lines filed schedule changes across September 2026 that remove seven domestic routes from its network between early November 2026 and early January 2027. Five affect New York and Las Vegas. Two more, New York JFK to Dallas/Fort Worth and Seattle to Philadelphia, were added to Delta's schedule on September 19. Two additional services, LaGuardia to Nassau and a once-weekly Atlanta to Anchorage winter flight, were suspended rather than eliminated.
