Panama-based Copa Airlines has placed a major new order for up to 60 additional Boeing 737 MAX aircraft in a deal valued at approximately $13.5 billion at list prices. The agreement, announced on April 28, was signed with Boeing and GE Aerospace as the carrier looks to significantly expand and modernize its narrowbody fleet over the next decade. Deliveries are scheduled between 2030 and 2034, subject to possible adjustments.
