Perhaps somewhat surprising to some is that Miami International Airport(MIA) isn't the busiest airport in Florida. This honor goes to Orlando International Airport(MCO), best known as a gateway to some of the best and largest theme parks in the world, serving close to 58 million passengers in 2025, making it the ninth-busiest airport in the United States. Besides being one of the busiest airports in the country, the airport is also one of the largest in the world in terms of land size with 46.9 km², it is also one of the world's largest airports by land area.
