Star Alliance carrier EVA Air has announced its latest ultra-long-haul service, connecting Taipei to the United States capital, Washington DC. The new city pair, which will commence on June 26, will initially operate four times a week and will increase the Taiwanese carrier's network up to ten North American gateways. The new service is expected to be operated by the airlines Boeing 787-9.
