New World Record? Alaska's Rome Debut Is About To Make Aviation History

Alaska Airlines employees are very excited. How excited? Well, they are so excited that they are on track to set a new world record for the most standby passengers for a single flight. More than 1,100 of them are already on standby for the carrier's first flight to Rome, which takes off on April 28, and with three months still to go, that number will undoubtedly increase substantially.
