Another Starlink Snub: easyJet Rules Out Musk’s Satellite Wi-Fi After Ryanair Rejection

easyJet has confirmed it has been in discussions with SpaceX’s Starlink about providing in-flight Wi-Fi across its fleet, but the airline says the proposal is not yet commercially viable. Speaking in late January, the UK-based low-cost carrier indicated that while Starlink’s technology is appealing, the current cost structure does not align with easyJet’s operating model. The comments place easyJet alongside other European budget airlines, carefully weighing the benefits of satellite connectivity. The issue has gained attention following a public dispute between Starlink founder Elon Musk and Ryanair chief executive Michael O’Leary.
