The Airbus A380 is the largest passenger aircraft ever built. It typically seats anywhere between 400 and 600 passengers, and Airbus states that it has a range capability of 8,000 nautical miles (14,800km) in a standard 4-class configuration. Not surprisingly, then, the majority of the A380s in operation today are a regular feature on high-demand trunk routes for the ten airlines still operating them.
