The Farchild A-10 Warthog's greater wingspan, length, and maximum takeoff weight make the aircraft physically bigger than the Sukhoi Su-25 Frogfoot. Its payload capacity is likewise greater. The Su-25 may weigh up to 38,800 lbs when it takes off fully loaded, but the A-10 can push an impressive 51,000 lbs at max weight. So the bottom line is, yes, the Warthog is the bigger beast, but how do they stack up in other areas of comparison?
