Since the silhouettes for the Boeing New Midsize Aircraft (NMA), also known as the 797, were first revealed at the 2017 Paris Air Show, they have been the subject of fierce debate. With Boeing continuing to grapple with extensive backlogs across many of its orders and aircraft development, it remains to be seen if the aircraft will ever come to fruition.
