The manufacturing run for the Airbus A380 ended in 2021. However, even now, four years after an 18-year production period in which 254 aircraft were built, the A380 remains on the list of the top ten fastest passenger aircraft in the world, as presented by Science Focus in December 2024. The A380 is a big plane capable of transporting up to 853 passengers at maximum capacity, and it was designed to be used with the hub and spoke airline model.
