One San Diegan has been watching his air tag travel the country without him. Éric Béteille, a content designer at Meta, notes that his air tag is supposedly stuck in the cargo space of an Alaska Airlines Embraer. In the last nine months, it has visited 37 different cities. Airtags have risen in popularity among those conscious of an airline losing their luggage, and many have even been able to locate their lost bag before the airline.
