One of the most exciting and potentially disrupting changes in aviation is for remotely piloted (and even fully autonomous) aircraft. This is, of course, not likely any time soon in passenger commercial aviation, but developments are underway in other areas, such as cargo and military. US-based UAV developer Natilus is working on a series of remotely operated cargo aircraft and has just released a design for a remote pilot control station to work with these.
