Dubai-based airline Emirates has been known as one of the few airlines to operate a widebody-only fleet. The airline only operates two types of aircraft, the Airbus A380 and the Boeing 777-300ER. Some of the largest commercial aircraft must perform the job, whether it is a short 90-minute hop or a 16+ hour long-haul flight. Emirates is the world’s largest operator of both types, with well over a hundred active aircraft of each type in its fleet.
