The Airbus A319, the second-smallest member of the European manufacturer's A320 family, first entered service in 1996 with Swissair. Since its maiden commercial flight, over 1,500 examples have been produced, and the model was later developed into the A319neo. Today, the A319 continues to fly off of its final assembly lines in Hamburg, Germany, and Tianjin, China and serves airlines across the globe.
