As well as being Halloween, today marks a special anniversary at British Airways. Specifically, it has been 36 years since the UK flag carrier recruited Lynn Barton, the airline's first female pilot. Barton went on to have an extensive career at BA, flying aircraft such as the Boeing 747 and being involved in a special opening.
