Frankfurt Airport (FRA) served more than six million passengers in July, a record since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is a massive 20% increase over the same period last year. As one of the busiest months during the summer travel time, July proved to be delivering the type of growth the airport is targeting. During the same month, the airport also saw a slight increase in cargo traffic compared to the previous two years. While the passenger volume for July is staggering, it is still 13% below the pre-pandemic levels.
