Mexican Government Limits The Number Of Hourly Flights At Mexico City International Airport

On Thursday, the Mexican government announced the reduction in the number of hourly slots at Mexico City International Airport (MEX). This cutdown will take place on October 29, when the IATA winter season begins, but has received widespread criticism from the local and regional airline industry, with Aeromexico, the International Air Transport Association (IATA), and the Latin American & Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) being particularly vocal about it.
