The long-awaited Boeing 787-9, destined for Hawaiian Airlines, was spotted at Boeing Paine Field after its long-term vacation in San Antonio, Texas. The aircraft, which holds registration N780HA, departed Kelly Field, Texas (SKF) on July 29th and was bound for Paine Field (PAE) the same day. Hawaiian's aircraft, which first took flight on June 18th, 2021, has been in long-term storage in Texas since the depths of the pandemic. However, it now seems to be destined for Hawaii soon.
