There was a time when flying long distances was not as easy as today. It was not until the 1920s that the pioneers of long-haul flights found the courage to embark on missions that proved to the world that flying across continents was possible. Among these pioneers, there was an Italian man, Francesco de Pinedo, who came to be known as the "legend of long distances".
