Colombia's Domestic Traffic Decreases By 11% In First Half Of 2023

Colombia’s domestic traffic registered an 11.6% decrease in the number of passengers in the first half of the year versus the same period in 2022. This traffic reduction took place in the same year that the local government increased the Valued Added Tax (VAT) on the tourism chain, and two local ultra-low-cost carriers ceased operations.
