Swiss leisure carrier Edelweiss is unusual because it remains an Airbus A340-300 operator. Averaging 19.7 years, it has five A340s, of which #5 was recently transferred from Swiss. However, when writing, this aircraft – and one already in Edelweiss' fleet – are parked, making three operational aircraft. This will change soon.
