How Pratt & Whitney Is Making Its North American MRO Operations More Sustainable

Pratt & Whitney has invested more than $10 billion over two decades in the Geared Turbofan (GTF) engine technologies to significantly minimize carbon emissions in the environment. GTF engines deliver a 16-20% improvement in fuel efficiency over other engines with a reduced carbon footprint. Pratt & Whitney estimates that GTF engines reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions by 50% and noise footprint by over 75% compared to previous technology.
