In its latest update, Delta Air Lines has reduced its scheduled operations in the New York City and Washington DC areas in late summer. This comes after the Federal Aviation Administration told airlines it would issue waivers for slots the airlines voluntarily wished to give up. Simple Flying has contacted Delta for a statement regarding the reduction but has not received a reply at the time of publication.
