Today marks 12 years since the crash of Sol Líneas Aéreas flight 5428, which came down near the Argentinian village of Los Menucos while operating a domestic flight. While the disaster is only the 16th-deadliest plane crash to have ever occurred in Argentina, it ranks first in terms of accidents involving the Saab 340.
