Viva Aerobus Closes 2023's First Quarter With $36 Million Net Loss

The ultra-low-cost carrier Viva Aerobus began the year with $347 million in revenue, a 34% growth versus the same period in 2022. This growth was leveraged by a strong demand across the Mexican domestic market, a larger Airbus A320-family-based fleet, and the opening of the company’s sixth base, located in Merida International Airport (MID) in the south of the country.
