Around this time every month, airlines and airports release their traffic figures for the previous month, with direct comparisons to 2022. In Asia-Pacific, the comparisons are usually extremely positive, with traffic up to 2000% or more ahead of where it was a year ago, but almost universally, there is no column showing the direct comparison to pre-pandemic levels. Why is that?
