It has been a very complex start of the year for the Latin American aviation industry. Four airlines have ceased operations in the region so far, with the latest, Colombia’s Ultra Air, halting all flights after declaring bankruptcy on Thursday, March 30. But if we go back a couple of years, the region has lost a total of ten airlines since 2020. Why?
