Situated in and serving the British Overseas Territory with which it shares its name, Gibraltar International Airport (GIB) is famously known for the four-lane road that crosses its runway: Winston Churchill Avenue. With just a handful of gates and no taxiway along most of the runway, the airport's daily movements are somewhat limited. As such, the number of airlines serving Gibraltar is minimal.
