Exactly 56 years ago, on March 15, 1967, Air Southwest, as the airline was first called, was incorporated in Texas by American billionaire Herbert Kelleher and investment consultant Rollin King. The partnership between the two entrepreneurs came about one afternoon in late 1966 when King went to visit his lawyer Kelleher.
