United Airlines plans to use widebody aircraft on 34 domestic routes this summer, which kicks off on March 26th for airlines in the Northern Hemisphere. It has an average of 65 daily flights (both ways combined), according to the latest Cirium data. They include a new 777-200 service between Washington Dulles and San Diego. In response to Alaska adding Dulles-San Diego, United has increased flights to four daily in the peak summer, including this widebody, a frequency last seen 13 years ago. And it hasn't used a widebody before.
