IndiGo Airbus A320 Returns To Amritsar Following Engine Shutdown

Take-offs and landings are the most critical phases of a flight, with the aircraft's engines playing a crucial role in ensuring the stability required during the different stages of the climb and descent. Therefore, the last thing pilots wish for their flights is an engine fault during take-off or landing. Nonetheless, on February 5th, pilots of the IndiGo flight 6E 5926 had to put up with the shutdown of one of the engines of their Airbus A320-200 while climbing out of Amritsar.
