India’s aviation watchdog, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), had a busy year in 2022, handing out notices to pilots and cabin crew due to failed pre-flight alcohol tests. The regulator also took more than 300 enforcements against airlines and individuals in general for several non-compliances.
