AIX Connect, formerly known as AirAsia India, will launch 21 new flights from Surat in the Indian state of Gujarat. These flights will offer daily direct services to Delhi, Bengaluru, and Kolkata and better connections to other destinations. The airline is now a subsidiary of Air India and will merge with Air India Express to form a consolidated low-cost carrier under the Tata brand.
