With many of the world's largest airports having aircraft arriving and departing almost constantly, it makes sense for them to have multiple runways. As Simple Flying explored in an article last year, Chicago O'Hare International (ORD) has a whopping eight landing strips! However, airports with just one active runway can also handle serious passenger numbers, as we shall now examine.
