Cabin crew are type-rated like pilots, but whereas pilots mostly hold one or two aircraft types at any one time, cabin crew can hold up to three or four types. This is dependent on the airline, what aircraft they have and what their operational requirements are. If they have bases is numerous cities this can also be a factor. Where 3 or 4 types are held, these have to be of a similar aircraft type or within the same aircraft family.
