Getting an aircraft delivered to an airline, and that same machine entering service are two very different things. Sometimes entry into service takes place relatively soon after, but in other cases, the jet could be waiting for a few months. In the case of ITA Airways' latest Airbus A350 delivery, it would appear that the aircraft spent a total of four hours on the ground before lifting off again, taking passengers to Brazil.
