40 Years Ago Today Spantax Flight 995 Crashed In Malaga

On September 13th, 1992, a Douglas DC-10-30 was scheduled to fly a charter service to JFK Airport in New York from Madrid. The flight, operated by Spantax, was to make an intermediate stop in Malaga. It arrived from Madrid at 08:20 local time, with 121 passengers, one baby, 13 crewmembers and four airline employees on board.
