The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in India has deregistered three SpiceJet (SG) aircraft based on a request made by a foreign lessor. Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) submitted an Irrevocable Deregistration and Export Request Authorization (IDERA) request to the DGCA late last month, and it took the aviation watchdog five days to act on it.
