A Korean Air plane that flying from Turkiye was forced to make an emergency landing in Azerbaijan on Sunday after a defect was found in one of its engines, the Seoul based firm has announced. The Aribus A330 had been heading to Incheon operating under the flight number KE9956 with 215 passengers and 10 crew members aboard. The troubled aircraft landed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in the capital of Baku, less than hours after taking off from Istanbul.
