Earlier this week, a GOL Boeing 737-800 was forced to do a go-around after it noticed that a LATAM Airbus A319 was departing from the same runway at Congonhas International Airport (CGH) in São Paulo, Brazil. The close call was classified as an incident by the country’s Air Force Aircraft Accident Investigation and Prevention Center or CENIPA.
