Emirates Reduces Lagos Service Over $85m Revenue Awaiting Repatriation

In response to an alleged failure of Nigeria to repatriate revenue from ticket sales, Emirates has announced that it will be cutting several flights to Nigeria. The airline claims that over $85 million of its revenue resides in the state of Nigeria. The state responded by stating that it is withholding these funds to better sustain its economy.
