Even if it sounds like something from a movie, could a flight attendant land an aircraft? It's an often asked question. Of course, some flight attendants have no interest in flying an aircraft, so they wouldn't be a good person to ask. However, some flight attendants do indeed decide to study for their pilots license and therefore, could potentially help land an aircraft in an emergency.
