Several years ago, most international airlines flying to Venezuela exited the country following an increase in uncertainty, which included, among other things, blocking airline funds of up to US$3.8 billion. Nonetheless, in the last couple of months, there have been several developments that could signal a better economic performance by the South American country and the return of some airlines to this country.
