What Was The SNCASE SE.161 Languedoc?

The SNCASE SE.161 Languedoc was a French-built four-engine aircraft that entered service just after the end of the Second World War. It was a solid, four-engine aircraft with reasonable capacity that was used by Air France and the French military, mainly for service to Africa and within Europe. 100 aircraft were built, but they had a relatively short service life after other aircraft soon offered significant improvements.
