What Happened To Atlantic Southeast Airlines?

Founded at the A-Tech Center in College Park, Georgia, near Atlanta in 1972, Atlantic Southeast Airlines (ASA) operated flights on behalf of Delta Air Lines and United Airlines. ASA operated close to 900 flights a day at its peak, mainly from its primary hub at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL).
