How A Pilot Error Led To The Loss Of A Golden Generation Of Zambian Footballers In 1993

On April 27th, 1994, the Zambia national football team was flying on a Zambian Air Force de Havilland Canada DHC-5 Buffalo. The squad was on its way Dakar, Senegal from Lusaka, Zambia. However, the aircraft nose-dived into the Atlantic Ocean, sadly killing all 30 people on board.
