In the latest sign of the global travel recovery, Myanmar has announced it will reopen its borders to foreign travelers on April 17th. International arrivals were suspended on March 29th, 2020, in a bid to stem the flow of COVID-19, but a recent drop in both cases and deaths has given the government the confidence to reopen its borders.
