Thanks to its quick response to the ongoing airspace closures across Europe, Air Serbia continues to profit greatly from the political developments that followed Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, has today again said that Serbia would not be imposing any sanctions on Russia. Air Serbia and Turkish Airlines are now the only means of travel between Russia and almost all of Europe. Other airlines flying to Belgrade are profiting too.
