France’s ASL Airlines Coming Back To Algeria

Following authorization from the Algerian authorities, French ASL Airlines will offer seven weekly flights to the North African nation from Lille, Lyon, and Paris. In a move designed to strengthen air links between France and Algeria, ASL Airlines will resume flights from September 9, 2021. All flights will be operated with the Boeing 737.

During the resumption of commercial flights to Algeria, ASL Airlines will fly five times a week between Paris and Algiers and once a week between Lille and Lyon to Algiers. From the French capital, all flights will depart from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG).

ASL Airlines France-Algeria schedule

Paris-Algiers

Looking at the ASL Airline France schedule, we can see that the flights between CDG and Houari Boumediene Airport (ALG) will be on a Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

  • Flights will depart Paris at 08:00 and arrive in Algiers at 09:20
  • Flights will depart Algiers at 10:20 and arrive in Paris at 13:40

Lyon – Algiers

Flights between Lyon–Saint-Exupéry Airport (LYS) and Houari Boumediene Airport (ALG) will be on Thursday.

  • Flights will depart Lyon at 08:00 and arrive in Algiers at 08:50
  • Flights will depart Algiers at 16:50 and arrive in Lyon at 19:40

Lille – Algiers 

Starting October 7, 2021, ASL Airlines France will fly from Lille Airport (LIL) to Houari Boumediene Airport (ALG) on Thursday.

  • Flights will depart Lille at 14:20 and arrive in Algiers at 15:50
  • Flights will depart Algiers at 09:50 and arrive in Lille at 13:20

In addition to the flights as mentioned above, ASL Airlines France will continue its flights to France from the following Algerian airports:

  • Annaba Rabah Bitat Airport (AAE)
  • Bejaia Soummam – Abane Ramdane Airport (BJA)

When speaking about the new France-Algeria flights in a company statement released on September 2, 2021, Sales and Program Director of ASL Airlines France Éric Vincent said:

With the opening of flight authorizations between the two countries, we are very happy to be able to expand our offer and to resume offering commercial flights, including from Lyon and Lille. We hope to soon be able to set up our entire program to give our loyal customers all the travel solutions between the capitals and regions of the two countries that they have been waiting for a year and a half!”
