Storm Elsa Prompts A Wave Of US Airline Travel Waivers

Tropical Storm Elsa is strengthening in the Gulf of Mexico on Monday evening. It may strike Florida’s west coast as a hurricane tonight into Wednesday. Meteorologists expect Elsa will then track through southeast Georgia, the eastern Carolinas, and southeast Virginia late Wednesday into Thursday. In anticipation, United States-based airlines are issuing a slew of travel waivers.
